Dávno dávno, když ještě kouzelné bytosti a čarování bylo na denním pořádku, stál v malebném městečku Slatiňany krásný zámek. Byl obklopen rozlehlým parkem a v jeho blízkosti se nacházela malá restaurace s názvem "U zámku". Restaurace byla slavná po celém království svou vynikající kuchyní a pohostinným personálem. Ať už byl návštěvník hladový rytíř, zpocený lovec nebo vyhladovělá princezna, vždy zde našel to, co potřeboval. Restaurace U zámku byla opravdu magickým místem, neboť zde pracovala tři kouzelná zvířátka. Prvním z nich byl kuchařský kocour Albínek, který měl vždy kapesníček připnutý ke svému pruhovanému kabátku.
