Byla jednou jedna malá horská chata v srdci krásného údolí, které se jmenovalo Smědava. Chatu obklopovaly tajemné lesy a vysoké vrcholy, které byly zasněžené téměř celý rok. Chata byla obývána rodinou hodných skřítků, kteří zde žili v souladu s přírodou. Skřítci se jmenovali Vítek a Tereza. Vítek byl statečný a dobrodružný, zatímco Tereza byla milá a moudrá. Společně se starali o chatu, aby v ní bylo vždy teplo, pohodlí a zásoby jídla. Protože bydleli v horách, často zde trávili čas se svými přáteli - ježky, zajíčky a dalšími lesními tvory.
